The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm successfully conducted a Consular Mobile Service in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday, 12 September 2026, providing convenient access to essential consular services for Sri Lankans living in Denmark. During the day, Embassy staff assisted Sri Lankans who travelled from various regions of Denmark to obtain consular services, including birth registrations, passport renewals, dual citizenship applications and certification of legal documents.

The successful conclusion of this initiative was made possible through the invaluable support of the Sri Lankan community in Copenhagen, whose coordination played a key role in ensuring the smooth organisation and efficient delivery of the mobile consular service.

This mobile programme underscored the Embassy’s renewed commitment to strengthening engagement with the Sri Lankan community across the region through regular dialogue and accessible services. As Sri Lanka’s only diplomatic mission in the region, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm looks after the interests and welfare of Sri Lankan nationals across the Nordic and Baltic countries, including Denmark.
