The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Canberra successfully conducted a Consular Mobile Services in April and 04 July 2026 at the Glenwood Community Hub, Sydney.
The Consular Mobile Service provided a range of essential consular services and information to members of the Sri Lankan community residing in Sydney and surrounding areas. The two Consular Mobile Services generated revenue amounting to over LKR ten million through the provision of consular services, demonstrating both the strong demand for these services and the effectiveness of the High Commission's outreach initiatives.
The High Commission expresses its sincere appreciation to the Sri Lankan community, Punaruda Organisation, Sydney and all volunteers whose valuable assistance, dedication, and support contributed to the successful organization and smooth conduct of the Consular Mobile Service.
The mobile services were conducted by Deputy High Commissioner, Wishwanath Aponsu, Attaché, Gihani Jayasiri and Consular Officer Manoj Amarasinghe of the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Canberra.
