Assistance to obtain Police Clearance Certificate from Foreign Countries

Eligibility:  Sri Lankan Citizen who has previously lived in Foreign Countries

The arrangements are made to obtain the Police Clearance Certificates [PCC] from foreign countries mainly Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan,  Bahrain, Oman, Thailand, Nairobi and Israel according to the requirements of respective authorities.

Bahrain

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Duly filled application (will be provided) with original finger print

  • One passport size photograph in white/grey background

  • Copy of cash receipt for one Bahrain dinar or three (3) USD paid at the Foreign Ministry/Sri Lanka

  • Copies of current and previouse passports.

  • Copy of previous residence permit (CPR) and re-entry visa

  • Letter of Authorization to Sri Lanka Embassy in Bahrain

Jordan

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka

  • Copy of the current passports attested by the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka

  • Copies of previous Passport if any along with visa pages

  • Two Passport size photographs in white background

  • Any other document of proof that you had been in Jordan.

  • Duly filled application form (will be provided)

Kuwait

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Foreign Ministry /Sri Lanka

  • Copy of current passport attested by the Foreign Ministry/Sri Lanka

  • Copies of previous Passports if any along with visa pages

  • Four Passport size photographs in blue background

  • Any Other document of proof that you have been in Kuwait.

Lebanon

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Dully filled application Form (will be provided)

  • Copy of the new passport

  • Copies of previous Passport if any along with visa pages

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka

Oman

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Duly filled application Form (will be provided)

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka

  • Copy of the current passport attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri  Lanka

  • Copies of previous passport if any along with visa pages

  • Four Passport size photograph

  • Any other document of proof that you have been in Oman

  • Copy of the cash receipt for OMR 39.400 paid at the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka

Saudi Arabia

  • A written request from the applicant (In English)

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka

  • Copy of current Passport attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka

  • Copies of previous Passport if any along with visa pages

  • Four Passport size photographs

  • Any other document of proof that you have been in Saudi Arabia

Thailand

  • A written request from the applicant

  • Dully filled application Form (will be provided)

  • Finger Print Impression Report attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka   and the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo

  • Certified Copy of the present passport

  • Copies of previous Passport if any along with visa pages

  • Two Passport size photographs (2 inches)

  • Copy of the cash receipt for 100 baht paid at the Foreign Ministry Sri Lanka

  • Certified copy of Work Permit

The assistance will be provided to obtain police clearance certificates from Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi), Maldives, Qatar and Seychelles, Japan and other countries upon request
