The Representative Office of Sri Lanka in the State of Palestine joined government institutions across Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan Missions abroad in marking the commencement of National Integrity Week 2026, observed from 27 to 31 July under the theme, "A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka."

To commemorate the occasion, the Representative Office held a solemn ceremony in Ramallah during which the Mission's staff reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of integrity by taking the National Integrity Pledge. The ceremony was led by the Head of Mission, Representative Farook Mohamed Fawzer, and attended by the Mission's Attaché, S. R. Mahinda Kumara, together with all members of the staff.

The observance forms part of the national initiative, "A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka," which seeks to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence throughout the public service. The initiative underscores the importance of fostering ethical conduct, strengthening institutional integrity, and enhancing the delivery of efficient, reliable, and people-centered public services.

Addressing the diplomatic and administrative staff, Representative Farook Fawzer emphasized that integrity remains the cornerstone of effective public administration and reaffirmed the Mission's commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and public service in the discharge of its responsibilities.
