Visit of the delegation of Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) of Sri Lanka to Myanmar and one to one business interactions

A Business delegation headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) of Sri Lanka visited Myanmar from 26 to 30 November 2019, in order to explore the possibilities of business opportunities in Myanmar for mutual benefit to the both countries.

Inauguration of the COYLE Myanmar Chapter was held at Pan Pacific Hotel in Yangon on 27 November 2019 followed by one to one business interactions with the participation of officials of the Government of Myanmar including members of the Yangon Parliament & officials of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), and  a number of  Myanmar leading business entrepreneurs.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed between COYLE Sri Lanka and its Myanmar Chapter in view of close interaction for exploring business opportunities in Myanmar.

Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar, Nandimithra Ekanayake addressing the inaugural session highlighted the economic importance of organizing such events to strengthen business interactions between the two countries and assured to extend his fullest cooperation in every possible manner to cement such collaborations.

The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs is a business chamber formed in 1999 and it promotes entrepreneurship, economic and development initiatives of the Government and international development of Sri Lanka.  The COYLE is currently with over 116 top Sri Lankan entrepreneurs who hold the controlling share of over top 100 leading companies in Sri Lanka.
