Sri Lanka Food Festival Kicked off at the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi

The “Sri Lanka Food Festival” was inaugurated on 5th February at the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi by the High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in India, Austin Fernando and Arun Pathak, Managing Director of the Hotel.  The Food Festival will run through till 10th February.

This unique five-day culinary sojourn will celebrate the culinary delights of Sri Lanka which are handcrafted by the Master Chef Nihal Somasiri from the Hotel Blue Waters in Wadduwa in Sri Lanka, using traditional techniques that origin from island, to provide a glimpse into the unbounded culture and flavorful heritage of the country that is guaranteed to take guests on a phenomenal culinary adventure, which they will savor forever. Menus have been carefully curated to centralize a plethora of aromatic spices and exotic herbs that are unique to the island. Fresh seafood curries and a variety of famous traditional food are just some of the mouthwatering delicacies that will be available for the guests.
