The Sri Lankan Ambassador thanked the President for all support that Mali has extended to Sri Lanka in all international fora in the past. The President appreciated the pivotal role that the Sri Lankan troops play as part of United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the north of Mali (MINUSMA) in stabilizing the country.

The President expressed great satisfaction over the status of existing relations between the two countries and indicated his desire to elevate them to an even higher level in the future for the benefit of both countries.
