The National Action Plan for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights (2017-2021)

I.Background

The current National Action Plan for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights (NHRAP) (2011-2016) expires at the end of this year. The Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) is preparing a new NHRAP for the next five years (2017-2021) to fulfill its obligation to protect and promote human rights in Sri Lanka.
