Prof. Arch. Luca Molinari

Prof. Molinari Associate Professor of “History of Contemporary Architecture” at the Faculty of Architecture, Naples “L. Vanvitelli”, SUN.

He holds a Phd in Theory and History of Architecture, TU Delft.

Curator for architecture of the Triennale of Milan (2000-2004) and of the Italian Pavillion at the XII Venice Biennale of Architecture (2010) and widely lectures on Theory and Contemporary Architecture and Design.

In 2009 he founded “viapiranesi”, a society specialized in architecture and design consulting and curatorship.

He published and edited different volumes in the field of Architectural History and Theory such as: Barcellona: architetture e spazi urbani 1975-1992 (1993); Ernesto Nathan Rogers, Esperienza dell’architettura (1996) and Lettere di Ernesto ad Ernesto e viceversa (2000), (with Paolo Scrivano), Post war Italian architecture (2000), (with Fondazione Portaluppi), Piero Portaluppi. (2003) Continuità: a response to identity crises. Ernesto Nathan Rogers and Italian architectural culture after 1945. (2008), Tadao Ando, Museums (2009).

He has been awarded by the X Venice Biennale of Architecture with “Ernesto N. Rogers prize” (2006) and with the UIA Jean Tschumi Prize for architectural criticism (2008).
