On 29 May 2026, members of the Sri Lankan community in Poland together with the Embassy staff, gathered at the Embassy premises to decorate the Embassy compound for Vesak, the following day.

Lanterns were made and hung with buckets and Buddhist flags in the Embassy compound. The exterior of building illuminated with colourful bulbs, was radiant throughout the night, symbolizing the spiritual enlightenment attained by the Buddha with the triumph of wisdom over ignorance.

The sense of community and spiritual harmony pervaded throughout such activities.
