At the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Society of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), the premier and oldest public university of economics in Poland, the Embassy of Sri Lanka organized the 15th Edition of the Action Diplomacy Programme on 8 June 2026. Several outstanding students selected by SGH from public universities participated in the programme, meeting with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, at the Embassy premises.     

Ambassador Dharmasena briefed on the bilateral relations between the two countries, the island’s geo-political and economic scenario as well as giving insights into the life of a female diplomat, relating to Ambassador’s own experiences. A question and an answer session ensued and subsequently, gift bags of tourist promotional material were presented to them. The occasion concluded with an authentic Sri Lankan lunch prepared for the guests.

Action Diplomacy is a well-recognized student project dedicated to furthering the Knowledge of Diplomacy, business, and geo-politics among brightest students of Polish universities, when taking the path of diplomacy for their future careers. The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Poland had been taking part in the event since 2018.
